Single direction geogrid, a kind of geosythetics with high strength, is made of polypropylene and anti-UV auxiliary agent.  Its tensile strength is more than 150MPa, so at present it is the best material for reinforcement.

Applications:

1. It can be widely used in highway, railway and air strips, which can effectively distribute the load, improve its carrying capacity and stability, prevent rupture and prolong its using life.

2. It can be used in slope or wall of highway or railway, which can improve its carrying capacity, prevent the slope from falling down, save a great deal of soil and stone and reduce the construction cost.

3. It can be made into a stone basket in dykes of river or reservoir and effectively protect the dyke body.
